Heart Evangelista brought out proof when a netizen claimed that she was just reality star Kane Lim’s “+1” at the 19th Annual Asian American Awards in Los Angeles, California.
The actress seemed cool and calm when she responded to a Twitter user’s allegations, advising them to “celebrate each other” instead.
“Paano +1 lang siya ni Kane di naman sya invited sa jan sa invited na yan nu. Binitbit lang ni kane,” the netizen said in a now-deleted tweet.
Heart then responded with a video of her and Kane which had a brief glimpse of the event’s guest list, where she was invited as an actress.
“Let’s celebrate each other,” she wrote in the caption.
In another tweet, the 36-year-old advised her followers to be happy for other people instead of bashing them.
Her tweet read: “Bakit ang active ng bashers ngayon? Ganito nalang let’s just all be happy for everyone striving and making their dreams come true – it’s possible.”
