It’s the thought that counts for McCoy De Leon.
The actor penned a lengthy appreciation post for his girlfriend and the mother of his daughter Elisse Joson to thank her for her well-thought-out gift.
On Instagram, he showed off his brand-new formal shoes gifted by the actress. McCoy explained the value of this gift as he opened up that he has been using only one pair of black formal shoes for the past 3 to 4 years.
“Hindi ko man napakita na sobrang tuwa ko pero hindi niya alam kung gaano kahalaga sa akin yun. Hindi ako man napakita na sobrang tuwa ko pero hindi niya alam kung gaano kahalaga sa akin yun.
“Hindi dahil sa materyal na bagay kundi sa naisip niya ako, na maging maayos at pinaramdam niya na mahalaga ako sa kanya. Napasabi nalang ako na ‘worth it worth it talaga tong babae to, ang swerte ko sa kanya. Thank you God binigay mo siya sa akin,’” he wrote.
McCoy then opened up that while he was unable to invest on material things, he was lucky enough to invest on a person who will love him.
“Maniwala ka man o sa hindi, hindi ko to makakalimutan,” he told Elisse.
In October McCoy and Elisse revealed that they now parents to a baby girl named Felize. They made the big announcement during their appearance on ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Kumunity Season 10.
