LOOK: Paolo Contis copies trending ‘lookalike’ sculpture

Paolo Contis is back on social media with a dose of laughter for his followers on Instagram!

More than a month after taking a break on the photo-sharing app, Paolo updated his account with a hilarious photo of him imitating the sculpture of a gigantic sleeping man’s head, which netizens said resembled the actor.

On Monday, Korean boy band superstar BTS members J-Hope and V on Twitter, posted a clip and a photo of themselves posing beside the sculpture at Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul in Seoul, South Korea.

According to the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the larger than life self-portrait called Mask II was created by Australian artist Ron Mueck. It demonstrates “the subtle play of realities that characterize much of Mueck’s work.”

Paolo became a trending topic on Twitter, as netizens, mostly fans of BTS a.k.a. ARMY, poked fun at the actor’s similarities to the artwork.

Paolo, on the other hand, saw no difference between him and his “look-alike”.

“Trending daw to kahapon, kaya chineck ko na din! May point naman sila! ???,”  the actor said in jest.
