Heaven Peralejo: ‘I’m single but not ready to mingle’

Heaven Peralejo has finally confirmed her breakup with Kiko Estrada, saying that she has already moved on.

The actress recently made the revelation in a Drink or Spill challenge with her best friends who asked about her relationship status.

“Okay! I’m single. But not ready to mingle,” said Heaven.

This came after more than a month of speculations that the two already called it quits last month, shortly after confirming their relationship in August with sweet photos of them together on their respective Instagram accounts.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz in late August, Kiko broke his silence on his controversial split with ex-girlfriend Devon Seron stressing that no overlapping happened between the latter and Heaven.

Kiko also decided to speak up against the criticisms of his relationship with Heaven which have gone “overboard”.

The actor, however, made a buzz early in September after netizens noticed that he unfollowed Heaven on Instagram and set his following to zero. Photos of him and Heaven were also cleared from his account, sparking split rumors.

Heaven, at that time, was still following Kiko and had their couple photos together. It was not until mid-September when she also unfollowed the actor and removed their pics, fuelling the breakup speculations.

Heaven, nevertheless, said she has now moved on, and has no hard feelings after their breakup.

“Yes, (naka-move on na ako). And, nandito ako sa phase na sobrang cliche, but I’m just loving myself. I’m getting to know me, ibang phase talaga ‘yun.

“Kaya nandito rin ako sa Siargao kasi I wanna learn independency, enjoy life na I don’t need any relationship. I just need my friends and I just need me. I’m really happy right now, supper happy, as in walang bigat sa puso ko.”
