Nadine Samonte tells her PCOS and APAS story in maternity shoot

Nadine Samonte posed with her medicines, hospital bills and even doctor’s prescriptions for her polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS) in her one-of-a-kind maternity shoot.

The actress said she wanted to share her reality and celebrate the blessing that is her pregnancy at the same time.

“I love being pregnant kahit mahirap kasi blessing ni Lord ito and ill be forever grateful na biniyayaan pa kami ng isa pa. Thank you Lord,” she wrote.

The expecting mom is pregnant with her and her husband Richard Chua’s third child. She is already in her third trimester of her pregnancy.

“Ang dami kong pinagdaanan sa pagbubuntis ko and lahat ng ito super worth it. Madami gusto magkaanak at isa ako sa pinagpala kaya iniingtan ko ito. Sa mga gusto magkaanak wag kayo mawalan ng pagasa because ibibgay ni Lord sa tamang panahon,” she said.

Nadine admitted how difficult it is to go through with her pregnancy, not knowing what is happening to her body but she is grateful she has her family beside her to support her.

She added: “Its hard pero here I am getting stronger each day and excited sa pagdati ng bunso namin.”

It was in June when the 33-year-old announced her “unexpected gift” with a snap of her growing family.
