Pia Wurtzbach assured that she will be practicing her right to vote even if she will be out of the country.
On social media, the Miss Universe 2015 shared how she guaranteed that she will be able to cast her vote for the elections in May 2022.
“Since I’ll be flying between Abu Dhabi and Manila more frequently next year, which might be the case on May 9, 2022, I immediately went to the Philippine Embassy last time I was there to register and make sure that I’ll be able to cast my vote even when I’m not in the Philippines.
“Whether I’ll be working or travelling, this is my PROMISE to myself and my commitment to my country that I will be able to cast my vote on May 9,” she wrote.
Pia then encouraged her followers to make the most out of the few weeks left of voter registration.
“Kung mahal mo ang Pilipinas, gawin natin ang ating karapatan na bumoto para sa ating bayan,” she ended.
As of writing, there are only 13 days left until the last day of voter registration.
