Jollibee crew left confused after customer orders ‘crispy towel’

A TikTok user tried ordering a “crispy towel” from a Jollibee crew and netizens didn’t find it funny at all.

A video of a certain @lolliqueen or Lollipop Queen on TikTok went viral on Tuesday after netizens lambasted her for being “insensitive” to the employee of the fast food restaurant.

The 24-second clip showed Lollipop Queen asking the crew along the drive through lane for the “crispy towel” as the “newest item” on Jollibee’s menu.

The crew appeared confused at first as to what the customer was saying in the video, but later said that they didn’t have it.

Netizens called out the uploader of the said video which was reuploaded by various Facebook pages and later drew criticisms online.

“You can’t buy class. This woman is the best example,” said a netizen.

Another commented, “Kawawa naman si kuya crew seryoso din sumagot na wala sila nyan.”

The original video uploaded on TikTok has since been taken down, while Lollipop Queen appeared to have to set the account to private.

Jollibee is currently facing a controversy after a customer took to social media to air her complaint over the supposed “chickenjoy” she ordered but was surprised to see a “deep fried towel” instead.

Following the viral incident, Jollibee had to close down the branch in Bonifacio Global City for three days and conducted a thorough investigation.
