Jinkee Pacquiao thanks husband Manny for supporting her ultimate fangirl dreams

Jinkee Pacquiao shared how much her husband, boxing champ-politician Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, supports her being an ultimate fangirl of Korean superstar Ji Chang-wook.

In an interview with Dra. Vicki Belo, Jinkee revealed that she actually keeps a pillow with the image of her favorite K-drama actor on it and said that Manny is totally fine with it.

“‘Yun ang inuunan ko, hina-hug ko. Yung picture niya sa unan. Si Manny okay lang. Okay lang naman siya,” related Jinkee.

Jinkee grew fond of Chang-wook after watching a couple of his shows such as Healer, among others.

“May nagsabi lang sa’kin na ‘panoorin mo to, maganda.’ Tapos nagustuhan ko na siya. Tapos gusto ko na siyang puntahan sa Korea. May mga ganun akong peg,” said Jinkee.

The entrepreneur-socialite went on to gush about Manny’s efforts to arrange a “memorable” meeting with Chang-wook.

Manny contacted a friend to help them meet and have dinner with the South Korean actor on Jinkee’s birthday.

“Sinurprise niya ako nung birthday ko nung nag-Korea kami. Meron na pala siyang kausap na imi-meet ko si Ji Chang-wook sa isang hotel kami, sa dinner,” shared Jinkee.

In a four-minute video released on her YouTube channel last year, Jinkee shared more details about meeting her idol twice — in 2018 and 2019.

“Super masaya kasi nga it’s a dream come true for me na makita siya at makausap ng sandali. Kasi nung dati, nung first meeting namin, medyo nagmamadali, kasi nagmamadali pa siya that time so pinuntahan lang talaga kami sa hotel para makipagkita.”

The Pacquiao family flew to South Korea once again and met Chang-wook on the set of the actor’s then drama Melting Me Softly.

“‘Yung second time, iyon yung medyo matagal at tsaka na-surprise din ako dahil parang nagpagawa talaga sila ng stall na maliit na may nakalagay na ‘Welcome Jinkee Pacquiao, from Ji Chang-wook.’ So, dun talaga ako super masaya na naglagay sila ng ganun,” Jinkee shared.

“I’m very grateful to my husband na siya pa yung kumakausap sa kaibigan niya na talagang gusto kong makipag-meet kay Ji Chang-wook for the second time.”
