These Star Magic talents are taking action after the country was hit with a global pandemic, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). 

In times of crisis, these stars proved that the Filipino spirit will always prevail. 

For her 24th birthday, box-office queen Kathryn Bernardo by giving back to the frontliners of San Lazaro Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, Chinese General Hospital, Perpetual Help Medical Center, Quezon City General Hospital and Rosario Maclang Bautista Hospital. 

She also sent meals to different barangays in Quezon City. 

Actor and army reservist Gerald Anderson personally sent food and drinks for the soldiers assigned to look after the NLEX Valenzuela and SLEX checkpoints on March 28. 

Like Kathryn, her close friend Ria Atayde also sent out meals to the health workers of FEU Hospital. The actress’ parents, Sylvia Sanchez and Art Atayde, recently tested positive for COVID-19. 

Chinita Princess Kim Chiu personally packed relief goods for 500 families in four different barangays in Marikina. 

Alexa Ilacad, through comedian Pooh, sent out packed meals with words of encouragement written on the containers for the Antipolo Hospital frontliners. 

Actress Bea Alonzo donated masks to Jose Memorial Hospital. Through Angel Locsin’s “UniTents” initiative for health workers in Taguig, Alonzo sent out a foldable bed and pillows. (READ: Angel Locsin to donate isolation tents to 38 more hospitals)

Close friends Michelle Vito and Elisse Joson sent out lunch meals for the health professionals at Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center. 

Rising star Ivana Alawi packed and distributed relief goods for some barangays in Cubao, Bacoor, Mandaluyong, Quezon City and Taguig. 

Celebrity couple Jake Cuenca and Kylie Versoza sent out packed meals for the frontliners of Makati Medical City, Medical Center Taguig, Las Piñas General Hospital and Unihealth Parañaque Hospital.
