On Carmina Villarroel’s recent live birthday stream, the Kapuso actress-TV host revealed that she and Piolo Pascual almost became a couple.
The 43-year-old Kapamilya star was one of her surprise guests who decided to grace her show and greet her a happy birthday. Carmina was obviously shocked when Piolo suddenly appeared on her screen.
“Serious ba ito? Ang gwapo naman nito, pantasya nga ng bayan,” she said.
The actor teased the mother of two, asking if they were really close since their friendship was unknown to the public.
“Close tayo, sa super close nga muntikan na maging kami,” she revealed.
“Ito kasi eh kulang na lang ako lumigaw diyan eh,” Carmina explained.
Piolo shared that one of his fondest memories with the birthday girl was when they had a group date with his kuya and Carmina’s best friend, Tessie.
“My sister-in-law who gave my brother two beautiful kids who are now 18 or 19 and they’re all grown-up na. We had a double date,” he said.
While Carmina laughed at the memory saying it was only a friendly date.
The Sarap, Di Ba? host celebrated her 45th birthday with a surprise from her husband Zoren Legaspi and their twins Cassy and Mavy.
“Despite the quarantine, I had the best bday celebration ever. I love you my family!”
