‘BTS is the best’: Park Seo-joon gets candid with Pinoy fans, wants to try adobo

South Korean star Park Seo-joon got candid with his Pinoy fans during the “Never Have I Ever” portion of his “fun meet” at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, October 14, 2023.  

When asked if he already tried the Philippine staple food chicken adobo, he replied “No, not yet.”

Seo-joon stressed that if there’s a chance, he would love to try chicken adobo on his next visit.  

Fans went wild when Seo-joon channeled his inner BTS fan after he mentioned that he loves listening to their music.

“BTS is the best,” he said in Korean and translated in English. 

Seo-joon and BTS member V are known to have a close friendship and they are both part of a group called “Wooga Squad.”

He also revealed his favorite outfit, eating habits, and how he achieves a work-life balance amid busy schedules. 

“Personally, I love to wear casual clothes, but I think because of you, I have to wear more sleeping clothes,” he also said.    

He noted that he never stayed home wearing sleepwear for the whole day. 

“I can say that I have never stayed all day at home [wearing sleepwear], since mostly I just wear my pants,” he said as the crowd went wild. 

Seo-joon shared that he loves watching films in the cinemas alone and has traveled alone several times during his free time.  

“I love films, so I go to cinemas alone a lot. And whenever I have a premiere of a new movie, I would love to see, personally, how the audience reacts. So, I go to cinemas alone a lot,” he said.  

The Itaewon Class actor also said that he never skipped eating for a whole day.  

“I am a person who would rather eat a lot, and exercise a lot,” he noted.

The What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim actor got more personal while answering the questions.  

Seo-joon opened up about not having much confidence in his physique, which is why he tried his best to work out regularly.

“Sa totoo lang po, nagkukulang po ako sa lahat ng parte. ‘Yung dahilan din po kaya patuloy akong nagwowork out dahil wala po akong masyadong confidence sa aking katawan,” he said in Korean, which was translated in Tagalog.
