Kris Aquino and Nicko Falcis resolve ‘financial issues, personal differences’

Kris Aquino has ended her controversial feud with her former business partner Nicko Falcis and his brother Atty. Jesus Falcis.

The actress posted on her Instagram on Wednesday, October 16, a statement from the Divina Law Office that said all involved parties “have fairly settled all financial issues and amicably worked out all personal differences.”

No further statement will be issued to avoid future misunderstanding, it also said.

It seems Kris is also chalking it up to experience and looking to move on.

Her caption read: “Learn from yesterday, like today, but above all, make sure to love tomorrow.”

The former TV host further wrote that she turned off the commenting feature “to permanently leave this chapter behind and embrace all that lies ahead for me.”

Meanwhile, Nicko also took to his Instagram to post a similar statement from the Bernas Law Offices and Ponferrada Ty Law Offices.

He captioned his post: “Grateful for all the legal firms who helped us and protected all of our mutual interests.”

The statements put to a close a year-long feud that saw parties trading barbs and legal cases. In October 2018, Kris filed a qualified theft complaint against her project manager and in November 2018, a cyber libel case against his lawyer-brother. The brothers, on the other hand, sued Kris for grave threats early this year.

Kris told her followers that they are free to discuss the statement but not on her feed.
