Heart Evangelista has just released the song she recorded way back in 2005!
The Kapuso artist said her self-written song, Breathe You is a reminder of how far she has come in 15 years since making the song.
“My dream for all of you to listen to this single has finally come true. A song that reminds me so much of how far I’ve come in the 15 years since I first made this piece.”
“‘Breathe You’ really holds a special place in my heart and I hope it finds one in you, too,” she said.
In a past Instagram post where she shared a snippet of her light tune by composer Jude Gitamondoc, the actress said she came across the song during the lockdown and has finally found the courage to share it.
“It’s been such a blast working on this and turning one of my dreams into reality,” she wrote.
In a past interview with GMA News Online, Heart shared that the song came to life when she had just found her independence.
“It was the first time I could call the shots. If I liked the song, I could sing the song, I could do whatever. It was just so liberating for me at the time. That was a really good chapter of my life. This song really reminds me of that time,” she said.
