LANY is back in Manila and they did not forget to express gratitude to their loyal Pinoy fans!
Lead vocalist Paul Jason Klein went senti mode after seeing the jam-packed arena during their “A Beautiful Blur” at the Philippine Arena on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
“I have never seen so many people in one place in my entire life. Manila you have been so so good to us for so many years. In fact, I feel like Manila understood LANY before anyone else understood us. We owe so much everything that we have to you. Thank you for your love, support, thank you for choosing to be here tonight, you could be anywhere in the entire world, but you take time out of your busy schedule to be here with us,” Paul said.
Fans enjoyed the night while singing LANY’s famous songs You, 13, ILYSB, Mean It, Malibu Nights, Thick and Thin, Thru These Tears, Pink Skies, I Don’t Wanna Love You Anymore, and Super Far.
Paul even went the extra mile for their fans as he went down the stage while singing XXL from their fifth studio album “A Beautiful Blur.”
“Thank you very much for the best night of my entire life. LANY loves you so much, Manila. I will try so hard to thank every single one of you. For as long as LANY exists, we will always be here in the Philippines. Until we see you again. Will be thinking about you, have a great rest of the year take care of yourselves, take care of your family and friends,” Paul stressed before the whole band bowed to the audience.
The Philippines is part of the Asian leg of LANY’s “A Beautiful Blur” world tour. American pop-rock duo last performed in the Philippines in 2022 for a five-day concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.
They are set to bring their concert in Cebu at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on October 13-15, 2024.
