It seems like this couple can’t get over the hit K-drama series, Crash Landing on You (CLOY).

CLOY fan Jasmine Diorka Suleik shared on Saturday, June 18, 2022 snippets of their honeymoon on Facebook as they revisit CLOY taping locations in Switzerland.

“After watching CLOY, especially its beautiful ending – I realized that the filming locations are the best spots for both a reward and a romantic honeymoon,” she said in a post.

In the middle of the pandemic, Suleik and her husband tied the knot in two weeks’ notice. And she’s on a mission to turn her husband into a K-drama fan.

To fulfill her mission, they booked a trip to Switzerland during the spring of May, in what she described as “both an anniversary and a birthday get-away.”

This isn’t the first time for Suleik to visit K-drama taping locations. Back in 2012, she had been to the Namsan Towers and the Coffee Prince Restaurant in South Korea.

But traveling amid pandemic is not an easy task. She inquired to a lot of tour companies offering CLOY packages. To save from expenses, they decided to DIY their trip.

“Having done it DIY and looking back, I realized that it’s really best to do it,” she added.

Suleik let us in on some secrets of visiting K-drama locations. To stay within the budget, she shared that travelers should establish if their trip will be for foodie, sightseeing, or luxury.

And finally, “Bring a tripod! Take photos but don’t forget to live in the moment,” she said.

Known for its unusual plot that is rooted between ‘South and North Korean’ star-crossed lovers, CLOY has become a hit K-drama series on Netflix starring real-life Korean couple, Hyun-Bin and Son Ye-jin.
