After over a hundred days of being apart, Heart Evangelista and husband Sorsogon Gov. Francis “Chiz” Escudero are finally back in each other’s arms.
The Kapuso star took to Instagram to express her delight after their reunion. Heart stayed in Manila while Chiz was in Sorsogon during the Luzon-wide lockdown period.
“At long last! @escuderochiz,” she wrote.
The couple was apart for over three months after President Rodrigo Duterte imposed the lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
A day after enhanced community quarantine was placed on Metro Manila, Heart took to Instagram to share that Chiz sent her an oversized hoodie to help with her anxious feelings.
“Because my husband knows that I’ve been anxious lately, he bought me this oversized hoodie which I use as my security blanket,” she said.
“This was my look for today while I work on this long distance relationship as he is busy in Sorsogon. By staying home, we do our part in helping keep others safe. Let’s continue to pray for our country and for the world,” she added.
Currently, Heart is in Sorsogon province with her family.
In a series of Instagram stories, she can be seen distributing vitamins to different hospitals, giving out wheelchairs and face masks to some locals, and buying some handwoven products.
