Coney Reyes thankful for son Vico Sotto’s sense of humor amid COVID-19 crisis

Coney Reyes is one proud mama!

The actress feels grateful to her son, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, for showing a sense of humor despite the coronavirus crisis the country is currently facing.

The 65-year-old Love of My Life star admitted that her son got it from his father, TV host and comedian Vic Sotto.

“I thank God for his sense of humor (which I’m sure he got from his Papa) amidst all that we are experiencing as a people… as a nation,” she said in an Instagram post accompanied by a viral video of the young mayor.

In the video, Vico was undergoing disinfection and after he was done, he jokingly “disinfected” the hygiene personnel with his own alcohol spray bottle.

Coney went on to thank “all the men and women who tirelessly work alongside Vico.”

“Bilib ako sa inyo!” she said.

“Maraming salamat sa walang patid na tulong at suporta! God is your ultimate Rewarder!

She also expressed gratitude to the supporters of his son.

“I would also personally like to thank all the people who continue to pray for Vico and his team!” she said.

“God bless us all and keep us in His loving care. God is our Refuge and Strength! Our ever-present help in times of need! Mga kapwa Filipino! Stay strong! Konti na lang ito, di ba Lord?! ???,” she added.

Vico Sotto has been the talk of the town over the past days, even landing on Twitter’s trending topics for his efforts to protect his constituents against the spread of the coronavirus.

If you can’t get enough of the young mayor’s sense of humor, thank this Twitter thread later.
