It truly is a “blessing after blessing” for Bea Alonzo.

The Kapamilya star was featured by US-based magazine Variety for being selected as one of the Asian Stars Up Next awardees at the International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM).

The award recognizes talents “who have the skills to become something much bigger in the entertainment industry.”

Variety described Bea as “a TV and film actress with a number of popular primetime soap operas and box office hits under her belt.” The feature also mentioned some of Bea’s multiple acting awards from the iconic movies she starred in, including The Love Affair and A Second Chance.

The 32-year-old actress felt honored and grateful for the “#kilig” moment.

“What a great feeling to be recognized along with the other stars from different Asian countries for their body of work,” she said in an Instagram post.

“Thank you @variety for the feature ??
I am beyond excited to be able to represent the Philippines in Macau this coming December ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #kilig,” she added.

The “Bakit parang kasalanan ko?” actress is set to receive her award at the International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM) which will be held from December 5 to 10, 2019.

Bea is the only Filipino to join seven other Asian star awardees, namely Lim Yoon-A (South Korea), Ryota-Katayose (Japan), Praewa Suthamphong (Thailand), Lien Binh Phat (Vietnam) Asmara Abigail (Indonesia), Bhumi Pednekar (India) and Jennis Oprasert (Thailand).

Her most recent film is the Unbreakable movie alongside Angelica Panganiban and Richard Gutierrez.
